- Pablo Duarte has been a Senior Research Analyst at the Flossbach von Storch Research Institute since March 2020.
- From 2017 to 2020, he was a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Empirical Economic Research at the University of Leipzig.
- Prior to that, he completed his doctorate at the Institute for Economic Policy at the University of Leipzig from 2013 to 2016, spending two years as a visiting researcher at New York University.
- He completed his master's and bachelor's degrees in economics at the University of Leipzig and the Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, Colombia.
- Pablo Duarte has published numerous research articles in recognised journals and presented his research findings at international conferences.
